TREE MODULE vs. ANSWERTREE

Hi all - does SPSS Classification Trees module allow the user to choose from candidate split variables (beyond FORCE first split)  ?
 
Answertree makes this possible by right clicking a node and growing branches interactively. Is a similiar functionality supported by TREE ?
