Talk Stats

I've now seen two postings from Talk Stats. People are sending stats
questions to Talk Stats, and they are forwarding the postings (or at least,
some of them) to this list. They get paid for answering the original
postings.

Is this in line with the list's intentions ?

My sense is that listers generally frown on doing homework for students and responders are generally pretty careful about giving too much information to obvious coursework questions.  In terms of someone else getting paid for a responders expertise, that's right out.  However, I am not sure we will be able to completely screen out such questions.
