Test for Normality

Chris Hunt
Hi All,

I have just run a test for normality using the explore function.  When I run multiple the variable in one go I get a different result to when I run each variable independently.

What is going on here? Should I run each variable separately?

I am using SPSS v19 and my code is:

EXAMINE VARIABLES=PA
  /PLOT NPPLOT
  /STATISTICS DESCRIPTIVES
  /CINTERVAL 95
  /MISSING LISTWISE
  /NOTOTAL.

Thanks,
Chris

MISSING=LISTWISE means that the values analyzed for any particular variable may vary according to the list of variables used.
