Two different data sets

lmegenhardt
I have two different data sets that I need to analyze in SPSS. They each have
different variables and number of cases. Does anyone know how I merge these
in SPSS correctly?

Jon, did your response suggest, by any chance, that more information is
needed?  ;-)

I am reminded of two terms coined by David Marso:  ESPss and
interneTelepathy.

I read that as a request for a straightforward ADD CASES merge.  What might happen after that is a different question.

Re: Two different data sets

Rich Ulrich
If the IDs are the same, it is a simple MATCH FILES where some
cases have no data in one file or the other, so the values will
be set to  Sysmis.
