Here, you can leave the list.  You cannot leave the list by posting to
the list, there is nobody here to do that for you.  You have to remove
yourself by either using the web interface from the link above or by
following the instructions you received when you joined.

        None of the hopeful unsubscribers will get unsubscribed by asking
the rest of us. We are all colleagues subscribed to the list, and cannot
subscribe or unsubscribe anybody. All of you have received instructions when
you subscribed in the first place: just read them!!!

        In short: write to the list SERVER, not to the list MEMBERS. Address
a message to [hidden email] and write SIGNOFF SPSSX-L in the body
of the message. Nothing more, nothing less.
        This should be done from the email address from which you originally
subscribed. SIGNOFF can be replaced by UNSUBSCRIBE, which would work as
well.
