So, once again, the standard response:
First, "unsubscribe" requests posted to the list will never be acted
on. Period.
Second, when you subscribed to the list, you received a welcome message
(see text below) with instructions for things like signing off. The
instructions include advice that you save the instructions.
Send a message to
[hidden email] with the following words in
the body of the message: SIGNOFF SPSSX-L. (You have to send it, of
course, from the address from which you're subscribed to the list.)
Don't add anything else (your name, a title for the message...).
It should work. If it doesn't, go the listserv web page and unsubscribe
there:
