Using scripts to export tables to Excel

Clare Wilkinson-2
Dear all,

We need to copy a large number of tables from SPSS to Excel and want to
do that using a script. We have found a script (exporttable) which
exports a table with a given name, however it automatically does this to
position A1 in the Excel worksheet. We want to be able to copy the table
to another position in the Excel worksheet. Does anyone know how to do
this?

Thank you in advance,

Hi

Take a look at file 5 of the Excel section of
http://www.spsstools.net/SampleScripts.htm#ImportExport

This script exports all visible tables to excel. The first table is exported
where the cursor is
initially set.

Cheers!
