Value labels not registering in Data View window

I´ve been using spss for a long time and now I have a problem that never happened before.

I assigned value labels to  the differente values of a variable in my dataset, but when I go to the Statistics View window, I only can see the original values and not the labels.
I found a post with a similar problem and I´ve try to put the labels with the Syntax editor but ir doesn´t work.


I ve attached a picture of the problem

Any possible solution please?

This is likely due to your Pivot Table Labelling settings:



You can adjust these settings using syntax, observe the outputs of this example:

get file="C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\24\Samples\English\Employee data.sav".

set tnumbers values.
freq gender.

set tnumbers labels.
freq gender.

set tnumbers both.
freq gender.

Jignesh has a syntax solution, but you can also change your SPSS setting s via the GUI.  Edit >> Options >> Output  as per the screenshot he sent.  It’s worth playing with the other options to see what else you can do.
