Version 15 Will be Installed on My Computer Next Week

The IT folks within my company are also saying they will preserve the
old version of SPSS on my machine as well, just in case.
 
Are there any suggestions that anyone can make to insure a smooth
transition?  Any particular patches that should be installed as well?
 
Any and all comments and suggestions are gladly welcome.
