Version 15 interface with database

I've just discovered that when accessing our database, not all the tables are listed. Version 11.5 and 12 had no problem. What's going on? Thanks.

Different databases have different kinds of table-like objects that are not actual tables in the database.  These get called views, synonyms, and various database-specific terms.  And there are system tables, too, which are usually not relevant for analysts.  Older versions of SPSS decided what sorts of objects to show in the tables list automatically and offered no user control.  In SPSS 15, you can control what types of objects are listed.  In the DB wizard, look at the checkboxes at the bottom of the Select Data tab and see if the object you want appears if you check additional types.  The exact definitions of these types vary among Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and others.

I did play with that but wasn't brave enough to try all the buttons. Thank you -- it worked.

Any way to make the selections a default or do we have to select every time?
