What test is used for mean contrasts in GEE?

titopuente
Hello -

In SPSS generalized estimating equations (GEE) you have the option to do a contrast between the estimated marginal means and correct for multiple comparisons. The results give you a global Wald chi square test as well as a table that shows which levels of your factor differ from each other in pairwise contrasts (which is the comparison that I requested).

My question: What is the name of the actual test being run to do these pairwise comparisons? I can't seem to find it in the SPSS documentation and I would like to report it.

Thanks.

In the fine manual, look at GENLIN - EMMEANS - PADJUST.

Thank you for your response. I previously misunderstood the manual but now I see the answer - sorry to post what in the end wound up being a fairly poor question.
