SPSS 14 and 15 require Python 2.4. SPSS 16 uses Python 2.5. You will find the correct Python and Plugin versions for SPSS 15 on the installation cd, although you can retrieve them from www.python.org and SPSS Developer Central (www.spss.com/devcentral) as well.
