Hello,
I'm curious if I can change the order of 'Java Application Versions' in OSX's Java Preferences to allow SPSS to use a 64bit JVM, and if this is even recommended. Also, if it would be advised to use J2SE 5.0 (64 bit) or Java SE 6 (64 bit). If I do change those settings, what command can I use to confirm which VM SPSS is using?
Finally, are there any other recommendations as to optimizing settings/cfg files for SPSS's use on a 64bit machine? I have loads of hard drive space, and 8GB of RAM, and I noticed the heap size is set to a minimum of 32M and max of 225.
