Which technique need to use?

samiran_sur

Hi all,

I am doing analysis in SPSS for my paper. My paper is on finding out the critical factors for  user groups and non-user group, and if there are any relations.

I have done exploratory factor analysis and then the result of this will be used in Multiple regression. For that I have used two different questionnaire for those two groups.

My queries are  :
i) can i use two separate questionnaire for that?
ii) Is it possible to do comparison between those two group? (as i have used two separate questionnaire)
ii) Is there any other techniques available to do so?

I presume "paper" = "study".

Operationally define "critical factors." Do you mean variables which are capable of predicting group membership?

I have done exploratory factor analysis and then the result of this will be
used in Multiple regression.

Why did you employ an exploratory factor analysis? Also, what do you mean when you state "..the result of this will be used in Multiple regression."

For that I have used two different

I do not follow.

My queries are  :
i/) can i use two separate questionnaire for that?

Again, I do not follow.

ii) Is it possible to do comparison between those two group? (as i have used
two separate questionnaire)

Are you asking whether you can compare composite scores from a test which is composed of different items for one group to composite scores from another test which is composed of different items for the second group?

ii) Is there any other techniques available to do so?/
I cannot begin to answer this question without further clarification. A good start would be to answer the questions above. Alternatively, you might seek out statistical consultation by someone at your institute of education.

I won't even try to speculate as to what you're trying to accomplish without much more information provided in a coherent way.

Sorry. Perhaps someone else on the list understands what you're asking. As of right now, I'm completely lost.
