It is true that SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys 2.0 does not support Windows Vista since STAfS 2.0 predates Vista. However, an SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys dot release is in development which will provide Vista compatibility (likely with the Business and Home Basic editions). The release is expected to be available in August. Details will be shared when available.

Dear list,
I understand that SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys 2.0 is not supported to run
on Windows Vista, nor are there plans to provide for this compatibility.
However, would anyone know of a way to work around this incompatibility?
Basically the program cannot be installed and running the setup file in
Windows XP compatibility mode (the OS feature) does not help.
Any suggestions official or informal are welcome please.
