Does anyone have any experience using SPSS on Linux vs. Windows?

curious about speed and fewer crashes when running python scripts with large datasets

We are running SPSS 22.0.0.1 on our computer pools (~100 PCs). We've had severe problems with stability over the last 12 month (http://spssx-discussion.1045642.n5.nabble.com/SPSS-22-0-0-1-on-Linux-crashes-quite-frequently-td5725665.html). Now I got a hint from IBM to install ia32-libs on the 64 bit system which seems to work. We are currently testing it on pool PCs and hope that it will work...
