Within subject comparison question

Niels Bogerd
Dear list members,

I am not able to make a within subject comparison of a fairly simple
data-set:

Dependent variable: Heat loss (Q).
Cases: 27 helmets, with for each helmet two conditions (vents open and
closed), every condition has three repetitions (total cases is 162).

Difference among helmets are at this stage not of interest and can
otherwise simply be tested with a general linear model ANOVA.

I am interested in testing the effect of the vents (open vs closed)
within each helmet, however, using a general linear model repeated
measures did not result in such a comparison, below you can find what I
did:
*2 factors (helmets (27 levels) and vent_configuration (2 levels))
*under 'options' I selected to 'display means' for
helmets*vent_configuration, but I was unable to select 'comparison of
the main effect'.

Rearranging the data did not solve the problem for me.

I would be very grateful for the solution or hints.

Thanks in advance, Niels
