Hi All: I just produced a Path Diagram using AMOS. The Diagram leave much to be desired when submitting to a Journal. I would like to fix it up. So I copied the diagram into a PDF file and now would like to move the coefficients so that they line up more aesthetically.
However the image in Adobe does not allow me to select specific objects. I can only select the entire image. Is there a way of exporting the AMOS diagram into a file which allows me to fix the diagram. thanks, martin

You can install DAGitty ... (It might already be there, I don't recall installing it.). See dagitty.net. Then Amos allows you to export a diagram (Tools > Export), and the exported diagram is editable. I haven't done much with this, but it's easy to try out. 1.3 Installing DAGitty on your own computer
DAGitty can be “installed” on your computer for use without an internet connection. To do
this, download the file dagitty.net/dagitty.zip which is a ZIP archive containing DAGitty’s
source. Unpack this ZIP file anywhere in your file system. To run DAGitty, just open the file
dags.html in the unpacked folder. Use of DAGitty is (and will always be) freely permitted and free of charge. You may download a
copy of DAGitty’s source code from its website at www.dagitty.net. The source code is available
under the GNU General Public License (GPL), either version 2.0, or any later version, at the
licensee’s choice; see the file LICENSE.txt in the download archive for details. On Sat, Jun 22, 2019 at 10:45 AM Martin Sherman <[hidden email]> wrote:

Sorry. I don't have AMOS 24. But, after exploring DAGitty a little more, I don't think it is capable of handling full AMOS diagrams. There are free tools that can convert PDFs to Word or other formats, but if you just have the Amos output as an image, that probably isn't going to help, so you would be limited to what you can do editing within Amos.
