any body has SPSS Quantum software?
|
|
Is this is the same 'Quantum' software originally owned/marketed by Quantime?
Purchased some years ago by SPSS (to effectively remove a 'rival' software - which it isn't really)? If so, yes. It is still used at my institute. In minor ways. SPSS did buy this software, not to remove a rival, but to reach a new
market. SPSS invested a lot of development effort to significantly enhance it, replace really ancient C code, and move it to different platforms. In 2000 or so, it was rebranded as the Dimensions suite, but who knows what it is now going to be called! -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Erroll Harper Sent: Tuesday, April 28, 2009 4:48 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: any body has SPSSQuantum software Is this is the same 'Quantum' software originally owned/marketed by Quantime? I use both SPSS (PASW?) and Quantum regularly, so I might be able to
help you.
