authenticate mapped shares in syntax

wsu_wright
Is it possible in syntax when executing a GET FILE or SAVE OUTFILE to a mapped network share the userid & password to authenticate access?  I have jobs that I'd like to execute both manually & in production jobs that access data on mapped shares that require authentication.  Currently I must use windows explorer to first access & authenticate the mapped shares, then open pasw & execute the syntax files.

Thanks in advance.

David,
I suspect it can be done via HOST followed by the NET USE command.  Google on <NET USE command> to find help file info for NET USE.
