Hello group, I am pretty much new to SPSS Syntax and have minimal
past experience using SPSS point and click in the past. I have a question about
using syntax to produce full reports with SPSS. I'm using PASW SPSS version 17.
Is there a way to generate a full report using SPSS Syntax
Program?
This report requires data analysis to compare survey data.
Generally we look at aggregate means of 2 groups data identified as best
practices benchmarks and we compare an individual company's rating to those
groups. I know this can be done using syntax program…
We also provide a graph output of the data analysis. I know
this can be done suing syntax program…
The report includes text that provides an overview of the
comparison, identifies gaps, and sets forth recommendations for closing that
gap. MY QUESTION IS:
Can the selection and output of this text be automated through SPSS Syntax if
we compose the text in advance and use some sort of DO If -- END If command? If
I'm totally off target here, please advice me of any possible way to achieve
the desired end result. Is SPSS capable of producing full reports or do you
have integrate it with other programs to get that end result?
