bootstrap option invisible in MIXED window

Zdaniuk, Bozena-3
hello everyone, I noticed that in my version 26 when I open MIXED linear model window the bootstrap option is not available (i can see it but it's 'pale' which means it's not available - there is a better word for it which escapes me at the moment). Is there something i need to do to turn the bootstrap function on?
thanks so much,
bozena

Is the Bootstrap button greyed out only for MIXED, or also for other
commands?  E.g., is it available to you in the GUI for MEANS (Analyze >
Compare Means > Means)?  Thanks for clarifying.

PS- I'm still on v25 (for Windows) until September.

When you see the bootstrap button but it is greyed out, that means you are licensed for that option but bootstrapping is not available for your particular model specification.  In this case, it appears that the Repeated specification is the culprit.  This is the same behavior as in V25.

it's only greyed out for MIXED. It is visible for all the other analyses. Actually, since I still have v. 25 on my laptop, i checked and it is the same for v.25 - Bootstrap button greyed out for MIXED only. Any idea why and what I can do about it?

thank you, Jon, this solved the issue!
I have another, I am sure very naive - apologies - question about bootstrapping in MIXED. I have four rows of data in my long file (four time points per participant). How does the bootstrapping command know to replace all four of those rows for that particular subject in exactly the same order even though the BOOTSTRAP command does not ask for the name of the id variable? Just curious...
