comparaison of 5 measures

iheb bougmiza
Hello,
I have 5 spot measures (quantitative values)  issued from 5 different tests.
Test1: 0.52
Test 2: 1.22
Test 3: 1,14
Test 4: 1.98
Test 5: 0.98
Can I compare them ? If  yes, Which statistical test have I to apply?
Thanks in advance

Re: comparaison of 5 measures

Maguin, Eugene
Iheb,

There's a lot you have not said. Too much to give much specific advice.

I assume you have the data values. Are these data for the same test
administered five times to the same subjects? Or, five different tests
administered once to the same subjects? Or, five different tests each
administered to a different set of subjects?

Re-post with better and more complete information.

Gene Maguin

Please give more detail.
You have 5 tests.  Are they intended to measure the same construct
(idea)? e.g., by 5 labs?
Are they intended to be 5 different constructs (ideas) e.g., height
weight age, etc?
Are they measures on the same cases at 5 points in time? e.g., height at
age 1 age 2 age3, etc?
How many groups of cases (entities) do you have?
What is the nature of the measures?
What is the nature of the cases
What questions do you want to use the data to answer?

SPSS has a "Statistics Coach" that you could start with to begin to figure this out.  It asks the same kinds of questions that Gene and ART asked.  Open SPSS, click Help and then Statistics Coach.
