You must have encountered problems like this in the course of your education How were those problems analyzed? How would you know if one group of companies was more "successful" than the other? You have repeated measures on each of your indicators and you have multiple indicators. In terms of those data, how would the successful group differ from the unsuccessful group?

Subject: comparison of companies
I want to comapre two types of companies (domestic and international) on four different indicators to check which one are more succesful. These indicators
are:
Return on assets
Return on equity
Working capital
Leverage
In my data base I have got 120 companies and their data for these indicators for period 2009-2013. What analysis do you suggest? Do I have to calculate averages (or medians) for these indicators before making any further analysis or maybe I can take these periodic changes also into account (if yes, how)?
Thanks in advance for your help :)
