I am using the "value labels" box to add values to a six point likert scale
eg.,., 1=disagree,6= agree totally. I would like to do this for all the items in the questionnaire. I right click on the row in the value column which has this and select copy, I highlight some rows in teh same column and select paste which seems to copy the values, I save but when I open the file again only some of the rows in the column have the values the rest are labeled "none". What Am I doing wrong? I simply want to have the same "values" for each item. Use syntax,
Value labels v1 to v(n) 1 'Disagree'...6 'Agree totally'.
