Recently I moved some output and syntax files from one
directory to another by highlighting the files and copying them (dragging-and-dropping)
to a new directory. In general, things worked fine. However, a couple of
files have been corrupted. This is an output file: PK

I still have the original files, so I can use them. I’d be
curious if anyone has any suggestion as to what happened in the copying. So far I haven’t found any problem with the data files. Pat |
What's the extension on the "output"
file? This looks like an attempt of a text editor to render a binary file.
So if the output file is a binary spv file but it has an extension of sps,
you might see something like this when you open the file.

I think that’s the problem. It looks like
I’ve saved an output file (.spv) as a syntax file (.sps), although I don’t know
how I did that. It also seems to have over-written the original syntax file. Thanks. Pat From:
