Hi all,
Just wondering if there is a way to automatically format a table in the syntax (color in rows, etc), rather than having to click on TableLooks for each table. It seems that when I click on "reset all cell formats to the TableLook" and I use a custom design, the table gives a weird formatting (I'd say it was a bug, but perhaps I'm missing something). I'm using version 16. best, Govind -- - Govind Acharya Assistant Director/Senior Research Associate Survey Research Institute, Cornell University 391 Pine Tree Rd. Hi Govind,
I don't know about version 16, but in earlier versions you could set the default TableLook to be used for all tables on the Edit > Options > Pivot Tables menu. You could select either a built-in TableLook or a custom-defined one. Hope this helps. Cheers, Kylie. -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Govind Acharya Sent: Friday, 20 June 2008 3:50 am To: [hidden email] Subject: customizing look for all tables Hi all, Just wondering if there is a way to automatically format a table in the syntax (color in rows, etc), rather than having to click on TableLooks for each table. You can still specify a default TableLook in Options in SPSS 16. You can also set the default TableLook via syntax with SET TLOOK, as in:
SET TLOOK='c:\myfiles\mylook.tlo'. -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Kylie Lange Sent: Thursday, June 19, 2008 7:46 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: customizing look for all tables Hi Govind, I don't know about version 16, but in earlier versions you could set the default TableLook to be used for all tables on the Edit > Options > Pivot Tables menu.
