date and times

Khaleel Hussaini
I seem to have forgotten how to do extract time between two dates. The data
I have is as follows

V1                                      V2
05-APR-2008 00:01:00        06-APR-2008 23:20:00
.                                        01-APR-2008 23:20:00
 01-APR-2008 23:20:00             .

I want to compute time difference in hours excluding the missing data. How
can I do this using SPSS 12 Syntax?

Best
SKH.

Re: date and times

Dennis Deck
One approach is:

COMPUTE Hours= CTIME.hours(Date1-Date2) .
