For example:
Save outfile = "c:/selectedvars.sav" /keep var24 var87 var357 to var378 /compr.
You can use /KEEP list of selected variables, or /DROP list of useless variables.
Or you can write
Get file = "c:/allmyvars.sav" /keep var24 var87 var357 to var378.
(/KEEP and /DROP work identically)
