Hi all,
I have a SPSS file of survey data, n=37264, including sampling weights (that
adjust the sample size back to the same 37264). I have to do some analyses
outside of SPSS, but the software I will be using does not recognise sample
weights.
How can I create a version of the data file that represents the weighted data?
I realise that some precision will be lost, as the non-integer weights will not
be able to be represented. There are 11 key variables of 2-5 categories each,
and I essentially need a data file that would give the weighted counts from the
nested table of all 11 variables (I have generated those counts using Custom
Tables, but I'm not sure if that is useful?).
