Hello,
I have made a syntaxfile that produces a lot of graphs. These graphs I want to export to Word documents. Is there a syntax code to do this or can one only achieve this by the GUI (which I do not want...).. Thanks in advance, Karin O. ====================To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. I have just been through exactly the same dialog with SPSS and the only solution I have at the moment ( version 16.0.2 because 17 hasn't crossed the Atlantic ) is to use OMS to generate HTML format files and then load the generated charts into Word - not easy, or pretty, but it works. I'm hoping that 17 ( or 17+ ) will have the ability to generate Word files via syntax !! I can live in hope. Best Wishes John S. With version 17, you can generate Word files directly from OMS, or you can use the new command OUTPUT EXPORT, which supports the formats previously available only via the Export dialog in the Viewer.
With prior versions, you can do this exporting with a script. HTH, Jon Peck -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Lemon, John S. This OUTPUT EXPORT command (in 17.0) will achieve exactly what you
want, in additiion the capabilities to export output to Excel now include graphs, in addition to text and tabular items. This enhancement, with syntax support, is a great addition (IMHO).
