filter dates

Shirley Scholtz

Dear all,

I am trying to filter out  old “Monthly tracking dates” and keep the latest dates only. For example, for ID # 885 I only need to know his/her employment status on 2/26/15, #925 employment status on 3/11/2015, #937 on 2/27/15 and so forth. Can anybody help?

Thank you in advance,

Shirley

Sort the file ascending on ID, descending on M_T_D then use FIRST function of MATCH FILES to flag them.
