fit any given equation

In older versions of SPSS one could fit any given equation (Windows dialogue). Can't find this feature in SPSS 20 and can't remember the syntax right now. Hope anyone knows what I mean.

"any given equation" is rather ambitious.  Curvefit applies to only 11 fairly simple models.  If you need to get deeper NLR and CNLR will perform much broader classes of estimation.
