hi
have a between*between*repeated*repeated design
and want means at lowest level, got this message
what can I do?
offending syntax line is
/EMMEANS TABLES=b1*b2*w1*w2 CONTRAST=NONE
GLMM is quite a disappointment, ti tends to give up on quite simple designs
best
Diana

I couldn't quite believe that warning, so had to try it for myself--see syntax below.
It's true: GENLINMIXED did not estimate the model with the 4-way interaction on the EMMEANS line. MIXED, on the other hand, did estimate that model. Cheers, Bruce NEW FILE. Wouldn't be possible to compute the standard errors of comparisons using the error covariance matrix? (I'm not suggesting that doing so would be EASY!) That matrix is available in regression but I don't know if it's available in glm, mixed, genlin or genlinmixed or logistic regression or some other routines either. No test commands either.
