help decision tree CRT analysis

Hi SPSSers

Is there any way to conduct classify > decision tree analysis with CRT, SPLIT by a categorical variable.

My category variable has 51 levels, with non consecutive numbers & I do not want to do it by selecting variable and running analysis 51 times

why this procedure does not accept splits a mystery to me!

All you need to do is to set your split variable as the first independent variable and check "Force first variable".  That amounts to splitting.

If you would prefer to run the procedure, in effect, separately on 51 partitions, that can be done with a short Python program.
