There seem to be quite a few people posting to the list with questions on statistics that are more or less unrelated to SPSS.
There is a website where these people can post these questions, even homework questions (tagged as such) are accepted: http://stats.stackexchange.com/
Questions on how to do a particular type of analysis in SPSS is also on-topic for the website.
