help on new syntax editor

Marks, Jim
Where is the documentation on the new syntax editor?

Initial questions:

-- can I change the colour scheme? (can I make comments more visible
than grey?)

-- what do breakpoints do?

-- how can I edit the command navigator so that lines do not bleed off
the screen when the syntax window is full screen?

Subject: [SPSSX-L] help on new syntax editor

Where is the documentation on the new syntax editor?
[>>>Peck, Jon] In Help>Topics, Look for Working with Command Syntax, and then Using the Syntax Editor.

Initial questions:

-- can I change the colour scheme? (can I make comments more visible
than grey?)
[>>>Peck, Jon] Yes.  Look at Edit>Options and the Syntax Editor tab.  It lets you change colors, control auto completion, set the gutter contents, and control the panes that are displayed.

-- what do breakpoints do?
[>>>Peck, Jon] See the Breakpoints subtopic under Using the Syntax Editor.

-- how can I edit the command navigator so that lines do not bleed off
the screen when the syntax window is full screen?
[>>>Peck, Jon] Not clear what that means.

HTH,
Jon Peck
