Subject: how to find averages of different variables and then apply chi-square
Hello
i am a management sciences student. teacher said me to do the analysis of data using SPSS. There are total 4 variables in my data. Each variable have
4 to 7 items (questions) in it. The responses were recorded on 5 likert scale (1 = storngly disagree to 5 = strongly agree). there are 120 respondents in this data. my question are
1. how i can find the average of each variable
add the all responses of a variable / total number of questions in a variable?
2. how to find chi-square value by using the average value of all variables?
