how to remove the hyphen in a string variable

I have string variable PremSTyp with the following values:

MINE-OPEN CUT
MINE-UNDERGROUND
HOUSE-DETACHED
HOUSE-SEMI DETACHED
HOUSE-TERRACE
HOUSE-VILLA/TOWNHOUSE
RESIDENTIAL-ACCOMMODATION
RESIDENTIAL-DWELLING
RESIDENTIAL-NON DWELLING
SCHOOL-PUBLIC PRIMARY
SCHOOL-PUBLIC SECONDARY

How do I remove the hyphen between the two words?

Any help is much appreciated.
