Hi Everyone -- Patrick and I hope that you are safe and healthy during this time of crisis.
Trying to strive for some degree of normalcy, we are still moving forward with our spring workshops on advanced quantitative modeling techniques, including Network Analysis, Structural Equation Modeling, Longitudinal Structural Equation Modeling, Latent Class/Cluster Analysis and Mixture Modeling, and Multilevel Modeling. Many of these include demonstration materials in SPSS. We are, however, making some changes to make it easier for people to participate.
First, given travel restrictions and recommendations against group meetings, we are switching all of our in-person teaching sessions (originally scheduled for Chapel Hill, NC) entirely to live-streaming. Registrants will be able to join in from the comfort and safety of their homes, and to interact with instructors remotely via live question and answer. Participants will also receive complete PDF copies of lecture notes and software demonstrations notes (in multiple software packages), as well as data and syntax files for all examples.
Second, in recognition of the financial hardships experienced by many at this time, we are also steeply reducing tuition. Any five day class is now $995 (professional rate) or $795 (student rate).
Full details on these workshops, and the new live-streaming format, are presented at
https://curranbauer.org/WorkshopSchedule/.
Last, just because this is a weird time to be alive, we are offering a three day live-streaming version of our workshop Introduction to Structural Equation Modeling completely free-of-charge to anyone who would like to participate; there are no restrictions on who may enroll. This will be held from 9:00-5:00 EST on May 6, 7, and 8 and will include complete PDFs of lecture notes and computer demonstrations. Full details about this free workshop and instructions for how to register can be found at
https://curranbauer.org/training/sem3day/
Please stay safe and help one another -- we’ll get on the other side of this soon.
Take care -- Dan & Patrick
