Dear SPSS users, Does anybody on the list know of a reference to conduct interrupted time series analysis in SPSS? I am trying to compare data before and after an intervention to determine whether the difference is statistically significant or not. Any recommendations? The STATS STRUC CHANGE extension command
can do fluctuation and Chow tests for time series. The Chow test
tests for a specific change point while the fluctuation tests look for
changes at any point.
With Statistics version 22, this command can be installed from the Utilities menu; for older versions, it can be found in the Extension Commands collection which is linked from the Downloads for SPSS Statistics page on the SPSS Community site (www.ibm.com/developerworks/spssdevcentral). It requires the R Essentials for Statistics, which is also linked on that page.
