SPSS does not have a latent class analysis
capability. Latent Gold from Statistical Innovations
has the capability, and can also be used
with complex sample data and sample weights.

Subject: latent class analysis and weighted variables
Hello,
I am a graduate student writing to ask if anyone has expertise using
latent class analysis with weighted variables. My advisor and I plan to use
the large National Comorbidity dataset (Kessler et al., 1994) to examine
heterogeneity among specific groups and I have been unable to determine
whether or not it is possible to conduct this analysis with the weighted
variables using SPSS. Some others have suggested using the taxometrics
program but I would rather use a familiar program (SPSS) if possible. I
would be grateful for any references or ideas that would point me in the
right direction. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
