Sorry to bother folks with a question about the listserve operation
itself, rather than SPSS/PASW, but I am stymied in trying to change a
subscription option, and I don;t see any way to contact the list
manager/ help.
I am getting the the postings in digest form, which includes both a text
and an html versions of each message. THe html version displays all the
html codes, e.g. stuff like

charset=3Dus-ascii">
I would like to turn off the html, and just get the text. I sent a message to
[hidden email], "set spssx-l nohtml"
and got the following response:
"All the options you specified were already in effect. Here are the exact
settings now in use for your subscription. Please take a few moments to
check that this is indeed what you wanted.
Subscription options for ...., list SPSSX-L:
DIGEST You receive list digests, rather than individual postings
FULLHDR Full (normal) mail headers
NOREPRO You do not receive a copy of your own postings
ACK Short e-mail acknowledgement of successfully processed
postings"
I don't see that this shows NOHTML, nor is there any evidence that NOHTML is the default. So how do I get rid of the messy code in the digest, to make it easy to peruse?
