See Applied Logistic Regression, 2nd edition by David Hosmer
and Stanley Lemeshow for a discussion of residuals. This
is an excellent reference for logistic regression.

Subject: logistic regression residuals
In SPSS, there's the option of saving residuals for logistic regression,
but I can't find what these residuals are actually telling us since there
isn't a regression line in this type of regression (as long as I understand
this correctly).
Also, if we were to save these residuals and use them as a dependent
variable in an AVNOVA with several of the independent variables from the
regression, what would this tell us?
Thanks in advance for your help!
