Hi
Can anyone provide me with a link to a single page of documentation of the appropriate versions of R that match with the different versions of SPSS from v16 onwards? cheers Chris -- Dr Chris Stride, C. You question is too vague. What you mean by "match"? For what analyses? Do you mean "that R can be made to give the same output as SPSS?" or "SPSS can be made to give the same output as R?".

Sorry if that wasn't clear - it was not a question of equivalent
analyses, just functionality - i.e. which version of R is the suitable one for each version of SPSS in terms of getting R code to run successfully within SPSS (within a BEGIN PROGRAM R. /END PROGRAM.) having implemented the appropriate plug-in. The installation instructions for each
version of the R plugin/Essentials for Statistics has the specific requirements.
There is no single document from IBM that puts all this in one place.
SPSS/SPSS Statistics versions 16 and 17 are no longer available. (SPSS 18 aka PASW) is also not available, but the plugin for that version is still posted.
