hi listers,

how can I make a matrix data from a simple .sav spss data. can I make some mathematical operations of the matrix I made from different .sav data.

SPSS matrix language allows you to create matrices by reading .sav file data. This would be a simple way of creating/populating a matrix you want if you want to do matrix operations within SPSS.  Look at MATRIX-END MATRIX in the comand reference manual.
