Hassan Taweel
DEar list,

In factor analysis, is there a way to get the unstandarised score coefficient matrix. Or can we convert the component score coefficient matrix (which is standarized) into unstandarised coefficients, if yes how?

Thanks
Hassan

Poling, Taylor Leigh
You can convert your standardized score variable into unstandardized factor scores by using the COMPUTE and multiplying each of your standardized score variables by the square root of its corresponding eigenvalue from the factor analysis output. Example: COMPUTE unstandardfactor1=standardized factorscore1*SQRT(x.xx). The x.xx is the eigenvalue associated with the first factor.
