odds ratio

Rodrigo Briceño
Dear SPSS users. This is a more statistical question. Can anybody
provide me some insight about if it is possible to get odd ratios when
you run probit models?
I am clear that with logit specification ODDS ratio could be estimated
easily, but not sure about Probit.
Thanks

Re: odds ratio

SR Millis-3
The probit link function is the inverse of the cumulative normal distribution.  As such, the exponeniated probit coefficients cannot be interpreted as odds ratios, as in logistic models.
