Hi Tina,
I don't think the issue rests with the SAV file but with having access permission to the Q drive.

Subject: opening SPSS 10 with SPSS 15?
When I try to open an SPSS 10 .sav file using version 15, it won't open and
I get the following message. Can anyone tell me how to open this file?
>Error. Command name: GET FILE
>File read error: file name Q:\CSU Fresno Data NSSE 2002.sav: Permission
denied (DATA1003)
>This command not executed.
Thanks,
Tina
