ordinal regression using Generalized Linear Models (GENLIN)

Hello
I am trying to perform ordinal regression using Generalized Linear Models (GENLIN) in SPSS. I am familiar with PLUM procedure to perform ordinal regression, however I am not pretty familiar to perform ordinal regression using Generalized Linear Regression (GENLIN) procedure in SPSS. Would anyone please help providing me the details step wise procedure to perform ordinal regression using GENLIN procedures in SPSS. How could I also get Odd Ratio from ordinal regression?
